Our next Polish Oral History journey takes us to the house of Mrs Felicja Przepiórka. We spent a delightful few hours in her company during which she has shared with us the story of her life and reasons for coming to live in the UK. Asked about what she would like to say to the young generation of Warwickshire residents, Mrs Przepiórka stated ‘I think that every nationality, every country, people, any nationality, ought to respect where they come from. For no one chooses their parents and their country of origin. People should keep their parentage for next generations to come. One should know and remember one’s traditions’.
